Clare Herbert – Tutor in Practical Theology and Pastoral Care

Clare joined the staff team in September 2013, and is the Tutor for Practical Theology and Mission.She has a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology from Edinburgh University and has recently completed a doctorate in the hermeneutics of Practical Theology with Anglia Ruskin University and the Cambridge Theology Federation.

A former childcare social worker, Clare was pastoral care advisor in the Diocese of London before becoming the Rector of St Anne’s Soho.

In her spare time Clare swims and sails a dinghy in Chichester Harbour.
