James Butler

James is a lecturer on the Pioneer Ministry MA at the Church Mission Society (CMS), postdoctoral researcher in Practical Theology at the University of Roehampton, and Associate Tutor at St Augustine’s. He spent two years with a mission organisation in Uruguay and has been involved in 24-7 Prayer Boiler Rooms and small missional communities with Fresh Expressions. He is currently a member of St Laurence’s Church in Reading which has a particular focus on unchurched young people.
