Nick was appointed to his post in 2013 and oversees the Diocesan training of the newly-ordained in Canterbury, working with colleagues in Rochester and Chichester. He oversees the training of Training Incumbents and the Assessment of Curacy process. He is Canon Treasurer of Canterbury Cathedral, was formerly a parish priest in central London, and prior to that held posts in the Dioceses of Salisbury and Portsmouth. Before his ordination he trained and worked as a barrister specializing in criminal law.
