Jan 31 Posted by Rebecca Young. Under Latest News,

Congratulations to our first year ordinand, Molly Boot! Molly has just written a chapter entitled ‘When Did I Start Calling my Body ‘it’? Purity Culture, Trauma and Learning to Embody Liberation’.

Review from Chine McDonald, Director of Theos Think Tank:

‘The thing about prophetic voices is that they provide deep and profound challenge, upset the status quo and say things that are uncomfortable but that need to be heard. I found this book deeply challenging and learnt something new from each of the chapters. The Church cannot let young people be voices crying out in the wilderness, but draw them in and listen to what they have to say. What we find in this book is young people from diverse backgrounds crying out for justice, a justice rooted in the authentically radical nature of the kingdom of God. They are calling on the Church to do better. It’s time we listened.’
