The discernment process starts with an informal period of prayer, reflection, and conversations with your vicar or vocations adviser. From there, you move into a formal stage that includes interviews, assessments, and panels, all designed to help you and the Church explore your calling together. The whole process usually takes around two years, but it could be more.
