Suzy Gregory
Tutor for Writing, Study Skills and Singing
“Coming to theological college is a brave and demanding business. I am privileged to help students meet the academic challenge by teaching them to develop their writing and study skills. Singing is another challenge, especially for those who look forward to “quires and places where they sing,” as it says in the BCP. As with writing essays, the key is ‘don’t panic,’ it really is possible!”
Suzy Gregory has taught writing, literature, and music in Britain and the USA, working at both high school and undergraduate levels. She is a fully qualified teacher who has also worked with children and adults with learning differences, including dyslexia. She has an MA in British and American literature and has also taken Masters level courses in theology, spirituality, and counselling. Suzy was on the staff of Salisbury and Wells Theological College, where she taught singing and voice.
Suzy lives in West Malling. When she is not teaching St Augustine’s students, she serves as a Police Chaplain at Force Headquarters in Maidstone. Her interests are literature, particularly poetry, theatre, and playing the piano.
