What better way to start 2025 than by deepening your connection to God?

This February, join our welcoming community of students, staff, and tutors as they take on weekly spiritual challenges to strengthen their Christian faith.

How it works

Each week, we’ll suggest a new spiritual practice to help you open your heart and mind to the mystery of God’s presence.

We’ve got four interesting challenges lined up for February, and we’d love for you to join us.

Watch our short intro video to learn more

In this video, Alan Gregory talks about the spiritual practice element of our upcoming Spirituality and Discipleship taster term, starting in March 2025.

Grow your faith, one week at a time

Alan encourages you to take time with these practices and to ask yourself:

  • What is the purpose of this practice?
  • What am I getting out of it?
  • How might this create change in my life?
  • How does this practice draw me closer to God?

Alan also suggests you record your progress, even if just a few thoughts: “As you go along with these practices, make some notes about your experience. Spend time thinking about it, and jot down your ideas, your feelings, what comes to you and what fires your imagination.”

Share your progress

We’d love to see how you’re doing. Share your progress and inspire others by posting on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #StAugSpiritualPractice.
