Fr Stanley Njoka is head of chaplaincy at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust and a Priest in charge of St Matthew’s Camberwell, he brings an abundance of experience and empathy to his work. Stanley’s extensive background includes working in various UK hospitals and parishes, instilling in him a profound appreciation for diversity, compassion, hospitality, and inclusion. Stanley firmly believes that pastoral care should be an integral aspect of all aspects of life, whether within or outside the Church. As a hospital chaplain, Stanley delivers holistic care, addressing the spiritual and emotional well-being of patients, families, and staff members within the healthcare environment. His ministry of presence and support can contribute to individuals’ healing and well-being during challenging times, and he takes great pleasure in walking alongside others during their most difficult moments. Aside from his healthcare work, Stanley also serves as a priest of St Matthew’s Camberwell, where he deals with all pastoral issues and joys of serving others. For Stanley, listening to people’s stories and journeying with them in prayer and support is the foundation of his ministry, and he is genuinely passionate about assisting others in finding hope and healing in their lives.
