Evening Taster Event at Central London Campus on Monday 3 June 2024
Are you thinking about taking your interest in Theology further, either by studying theology or training for ministry?
Discover what theological study is really like by visiting St Augustine’s Theology College at either of our Kent or central London campuses.
When you’re trying to decide the right place to begin your studies, nothing really beats meeting face-to-face. Visiting us and seeing the campus for yourself is by far the best way to discern whether St Augustine’s is right for you.
Discover theological study at our London campus
This relaxed open evening is being held at Trinity House, our Southwark campus just a few minutes walk from London Bridge tube station.
You are invited to arrive at Trinity House from 5:00pm to begin your Taster Event experience. Meet with tutors, explore the facilities, take part in worship, and even sample a real theology class alongside current St Augustine’s students.
While this is an informal open evening where you’re welcome to arrive and depart whenever suits you, we do also have a light schedule to help you get the most from your visit.
- 5:00pm to 6:30pm – Chat with staff, students and guests, plus one-to-ones with tutors
- 6:30pm to 7:00pm – Join tutors, students and fellow guests for evening worship
- 7:00pm to 9:00pm – Sit in on a theology class of your choosing
Sit in on real theology class
If you’re interested in studying theology at entry level (i.e. Certificate of Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission), you can choose to join one of the following classes as part of your Taster Event experience:
- Spirituality & Discipleship
- Using the Bible Today
- Sacramental Theology & Ministry
If you’re interested in studying theology at degree level or higher (e.g. BA in Theology, Ministry and Mission), we recommend attending the Science & Faith class.
