At this time as we begin to emerge out of lockdown we all have questions of what the ‘new normal’ will look like. Our patterns of mission and ministry have been shaken and disrupted and we need space to reflect and imagine afresh. The HeartEdge and St Augustine’s mission summer school offers just such an opportunity.
It will run from Monday 12th July to Friday 16th July and takes place online. Each day will be framed by Sam Wells looking at one of the HeartEdge Network’s 4Cs; commerce, compassion, congregation and culture. As well as Sam Wells we will have input from Anthony Reddie, Cathy Ross, Maggi Dawn, Richard Frazer, Andrea Campanale, Heather Cracknel and Rosemarie Mallett and others. Every day there will be opportunities to hear from people on the ground, reflect and explore themes in your own context, engage with different traditions and different expressions of church and have conversations with other participants. If it sounds interesting but you can’t manage to engage with the whole week, then there is also an option to join in with the evening sessions. Come and reflect with others on how to engage in mission and ministry in the new normal.
