About the Biblical Hebrew courses
After the first-year elementary course, you will have a good understanding of the basics of Biblical Hebrew grammar, and you will already have translated some smaller portions of the Hebrew Bible itself.
After the second-year intermediate course, you will have completed an introductory textbook and used that knowledge to translate at least a chapter of the Old Testament from Hebrew.
An advanced class is also possible, offered privately by the lecturer but based at the college. Sign up with the link below, and the college will put you in touch with him. This follows on from the first two years and will involve extensive reading of the Hebrew Bible and solid exegetical training.
“During your studies, you will engage with up-to-date scholarship on the relevant texts. You’ll explore a range of subjects, including matters of history and literary analysis, background, and theology.”
