Application for Biblical Languages course

Welcome to the application page for St Augustine’s College of Theology’s Biblical Languages courses. We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you into our academic community.

Please note that there are no academic entry requirements to undertake the beginner’s Biblical Languages courses. However, there are admission criteria in place to ensure applicants can get the most out of their study experience.

If you are applying for Intermediate or Advanced New Testament Greek or Biblical Hebrew, we recommend you have familiarity with and/or fluency in the languages. If you require advice or guidance, please speak to our friendly admissions team.

Applications for Elementary and Intermediate courses should be submitted via this application form. Applications for Advanced-level courses should be submitted via email r.young@staugustinescollege.ac.uk

Please be aware that to secure your place on the Biblical Hebrew or New Testament Greek courses, we require a payment of £600 for alumni or £900 for new students, payable when you submit this application. If you are a current student at St Augustine’s no need to fill out the form – just email the office.

What you need to apply

To successfully complete your application, please have the following information ready:

• Relevant personal information
• (If relevant) details of your English Language Proficiency Test
• A passport-style photo of yourself
• Details of your emergency contact, including their name and phone number
• (If relevant) details of any required learning support and/or dietary requirements
• Funds to pay the course fee
• Note that we require your full legal name as it appears on your passport
• If you are a current St Augustine’s student, all languages are free. If you want to do the course – please book your place by emailing the office
