When ‘lockdown’ began September seemed a long way off and I so assumed we’d begin the Autumn Term as we normally do. Now, the future looks rather different. Along with Durham university and other Church of England theological colleges, St Augustine’s will open in September for the new academic year, initially delivering an online induction for new students before launching online classes for the week beginning 21 September. An Important Announcement

We are currently following measures designed to combat the spread of COVID-19. From now on, our teaching will move online and all students and staff should consult ‘Moodle’ to find more information (log in at the bottom of this page). For anyone interested in learning about the college or thinking about applying to study here, please see the notice, “Still Open for Enquirers.” Be wise, do all you can to stay well, help others where you can, and keep in prayer.

Taster Fridays

You can attend all or part of these West Malling Friday teaching days, sitting in on classes, meeting with staff, attending Chapel worship and chatting with students over lunch. This is a great way of getting a feel for what we do and how you might flourish at the college.  In the spring term you are welcome to come along to Church History; Christian Doctrine; New Testament Studies; and Further Old Testament Studies (MA level)
